Cent Browser is a web utility that's based around Chromium, but it offers many features not provided by that tool. While Cent is designed to function somewhat similarly to Chrome, it provides users with a neat interface that makes it easy to use. You may even find it's faster than the tools that it's forked from.

Since Cent has the same underlying foundation as Chrome, it supports all modern web technologies. You shouldn't run into any situation where you can't load a page because a library is out of date. Once you have the browser installed, you can start to customize these technologies in ways that wouldn't normally be possible.

Perhaps the most unique feature is Cent's support for custom mouse gestures. You can define different gestures, which you then execute by holding down the right mouse button and repeating a motion that you previously assigned. Power users can configure gestures to do everything from clearing their history to switching between screen modes. Cent also supports standard keyboard shortcuts for all of these functions. If you've already taken the time to learn shortcuts from other Chromium-based browsers, then you should be able to use them here without having to master any different gestures.

Enabling incognito mode is much easier with Cent Browser than most other similar products. When you open an incognito tab, it'll stay in the same window as the rest of your tabs. That makes it easier to use secure browsing technology since you won't have a number of different windows cluttering your desktop.

Users can pinpoint which tabs go to which pages by scrolling a simple bar at the top of their window. This helps to reduce the risk of losing a tab when you're browsing a large number of sites at the same time.

A number of unusual tools come bundled with Cent Browser. For instance, it includes a QR code generator right in the browser. You're free to access any of the search engines you have loaded simply by right-clicking on links or in a blank area of negative space. Perhaps the most unique of these is a boss key, which allows you to disguise whatever it is you're doing. While this is ostensibly designed to help you hide from prying eyes at work, there's a number of more legitimate reasons why you might want to take advantage of this feature.

While Cent Browser uses the same Blink layout engine that bare Chromium does, it tends to resolve pages slightly faster than the naked equivalent. You might not notice any major gains in speed, but it's certainly good news for those who may heavy use of graphically intensive websites. It might prove especially helpful for heavy consumers of social media, since these services tend to combine multiple elements onto a single page.

If these features aren't enough for you, then you might want to start installing third-party Chrome extensions. Cent Browser is designed to be compatible with every extension that's out for garden variety Chrome installations. While it's likely that you may come across an extension that doesn't work for Cent Browser, chances are that you'll be able to install an overwhelming majority of them.
